Yu-gi-oh will currently be free play. There will be no cost in playing except for tournaments.
Packs we have in stock will be a normal $6 as to be in line with our other products.
We do not have folders for these however we will maintain the 10 for $2 area and some Rare/Holo cards. that will be loose. We will try and make it so that the holographic cards are a fair price just as we do with Pokemon
We will be using the Advanced format as displayed here http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/pdf/Limited_Forbidden_Cards_11-03.pdf except when we have our Survivor challenges. Rules for these battles will be published before the time.
Anyway. Thats it for now. Hope to see you sunday.

We have been doing some great things in the past month with the Pre-release for Black and White as well as battle Roads but we have exciting things happening from this month
Each week we will be running a tournament of some sort. Mainly Pokemon but at the end of the month we will be restarting Yu-Gi-Oh! also we will be looking in to other games that people will want to play.
Starting from this week and until the final week we will be running Pokemon Tournaments from 9/9:30am. These tournaments will be inclusive of all legal cards as well as the Black and White cards.
Please note that only at official BIG tournaments will black and white chards not be able to be used. Unfortunately at present we have no big tournaments but we will keep you updated.
We do have some good/bad news though. We will be trying to reduce the price of Holographic cards within the store, this however means that trade values will not be as much as they have been previously.
Anyway. Thats some of the updates more will be announced later this month

I would like to remind you all that this weekend we have the Pokemon Battle Roads tournament being held at RH Gaming.
Now is the time to test to see how well your decks stand up to champions of past and present.
Remember to get in early as we are expecting quite alot of people and we do need to start at 9am. But also if you have any friends of family that also want to play. Bring them along.
All players DO need to bring a deck list. This includes a list of all cards in your deck (along with set, age group and POP ID Number)
Also please remember that for battle roads and nationals, Black and White cards are unable to be played.
A list of all tournament legal cards is available at http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=41415
Hope to see you there.

The Victory Roads Tournament is set for the 15th of may.
Until additional information is given to me about the structure, I have set the cost at $1
A reminder to people that we still only have a very limited table space and so I think we can have a maximum of 16 players. If at all possible we will try and get more spaces though.

We have some big news for card game players.
on the 17th of this month we will be having the Pokemon Black and White Pre-release.
the cost will be $30 and will include everything you need to start playing the game. That being said any cards that you get in the Tournament you will get to keep.
Remember that Pre-Release rules do apply though. You may have more than 4 of any card in a deck as well as having only a 40 card deck. remember to register early as we only have room for 16 people. They usually do get filled early.
anyway thats only 1/2 of the news.
I would like to announce to people that we are happy to be the official host of the 2011 Adelaide Victory Roads.
This is a premier event that allows trainers to get more of a ranking as well as great prizes from Pokemon USA.

I have just finished getting Pokemon White on order. I like to think of myself as a good character not evil. But I guess Good and Evil aren't black and white..

Pokemon league continues on Sunday and hope to see people there.
Jon here with a brief update on Sunday's Pre release.
As everyone should know by now our Pokemon Call of Legends was unavoidably delayed due to the shipment of the boosters. This was reproduce last week and we were able to have our prerelease last weekend.
We had 14 players and it seemed that except for a single problem at the end of the day ( which will be explained after) everyone had a great time.
As for problems. I would like to remind people that it is YOUR responsibility to keep your items with you at all times. We had an incident where someone lost their prerelease deck.
Fortunately and to the credit of all of other players and staff we were able to provide the person in question with a substitute deck. But again we ask that all of our players keep their decks with them at all times.
Since then the player did find their prerelease deck and we all were happy to help during the time. It's not nice to lose any decks. I should know.
Anyway now that all the decks have been found we hope that everyone can get their Pokemon decks up and running. Integrating the new set.
See you on Sunday.

Pokemon HGSS Triumphant
Pokemon HGSS Undaunted
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D Ancient Prophecy
Is all goes well we should receive them for next week
If there is anything else you think we need. Please leave a comment,
Next week we will have great prizes for our 9am Pokemon tournament. 8 or more players mean better prizes.
Each week we will try and document different apexes of what we are. Our tournaments and players.
Today's tournament started at 9am with several people coming in to a Pokemon tournament. Most people here play tournaments with 3 prizes to allow us to have ample time for games. Best of 3 games winner gets the points and gets in to the next round against other winners. We use the TOM system provided by Pokemon.com to help us.
Tournaments for us are a big draw card. With a tournament each week we seek to get players not only buying our cards but also trading and using the against us and other card players. We think hope that we are considered the place to be for Pokemon in Adelaide..
